A2 (Elementary) level conversations: (16) Talking about Time and Schedules

Alex: Hi Emma! How’s your day going?

Emma: Hi Alex! It’s good, thanks. How about yours?

Alex: Not bad. By the way, do you know what time it is? I have a meeting at 3, and I want to make sure I’m not running late.

Emma: Sure, let me check. Oh, it’s almost 2:30 now.

Alex: Perfect, thanks. So, any plans for the weekend?

Emma: Yeah, I’m meeting some friends for brunch on Saturday. We’re planning to catch up at this cute cafe around 11 in the morning.

Alex: Sounds nice! I have a crucial soccer match scheduled for Sunday at 4 in the afternoon.

Emma: Oh, that sounds exciting! I didn’t know you played soccer. Is it okay if I come and support your team?

Alex: Not at all! That would be great. The more, the merrier. We usually meet at the field around 3:30. Will that work for you?

Emma: Absolutely! I’ll be there, and I’ll bring some snacks to enjoy during the game.

Alex: Awesome! Looking forward to it. It’s been a while since I’ve had friends at the game.

Emma: It’s a plan then. Brunch on Saturday and soccer on Sunday. I’m excited!

Alex: Me too! Looks like the weekend is going to be enjoyable.

Emma: Definitely. Sure, I’ll let you get back to your tasks. See you at the game on Sunday!

Alex: Sounds good! See you then, Emma. Have a great day!
