A2 (Elementary) level conversations: (15) Making Plans with Friends

Chris: Hey Emma! How’s it going?

Emma: Hi Chris! I’m good, thanks. How about you?

Chris: Not bad. Got anything on the agenda for the weekend?

Emma: Not yet. What did you have in mind?

Chris: I was thinking of catching a movie on Saturday. Are you up for it?

Emma: That sounds like a great idea! Any movie in particular?

Chris: I heard there’s a new comedy that just came out. How about we give it a shot?

Emma: Sure, I’m in! What time were you thinking?

Chris: How about the 3:30 show? Gives us some time to grab a snack before.

Emma: Perfect! And we can decide on the movie genre based on our mood that day.

Chris: Sounds like a plan. And maybe we can grab dinner afterward?

Emma: That’s a great idea! Any preferences for dinner?

Chris: I’m open to anything. How about we explore that new Italian place downtown?

Emma: Italian sounds delicious! Count me in. Saturday it is, then!

Chris: Awesome! Looking forward to it, Emma. If you think of any other plans, feel free to suggest.

Emma: Will do, Chris. It’s been too long since our last outing. Can’t wait!

Chris: Agreed! Okay, I’ll leave you to it. See you on Saturday!

Emma: See you then, Chris. Take care!
