A1 (Beginner) Level conversations: (27)Daily Activities

Marie: Hi Andrew! How’s your day going?

Andrew: Hey, Marie! I’m good, thanks. How about you?

Marie: I’m doing well too. So, Andrew, can you tell me about your daily routine?

Andrew: Sure! I usually wake up at 6 in the morning. What about you?

Marie: I wake up a bit later, around 7. I’m not much of a morning person.

Andrew: Fair enough. The first thing I do after waking up is brush my teeth. Then, I have a quick shower. How about you?

Marie: I also brush my teeth first, and then I enjoy a hot shower. It helps me wake up. After that, I have breakfast around 8.

Andrew: I have breakfast a bit earlier, around 7. I usually eat toast and drink some coffee. What’s your go-to breakfast?

Marie: I love having yogurt with fruits and a cup of tea. It’s light but satisfying. So, after breakfast, I leave for work around 9.

Andrew: I start work at 8. I like to get an early start. During the day, I take short breaks to stay energized. What about you?

Marie: I usually have a break around 10:30 for a snack. I like munching on some nuts or fruit. Lunch is around 12:30, and I often bring a salad from home.

Andrew: Nice! I usually grab lunch from the cafeteria. I like having a sandwich or a salad. After work, I hit the gym around 6. Do you have any evening activities?

Marie: I prefer to exercise in the morning, but in the evening, I enjoy going for a walk or doing some yoga. After that, I cook dinner around 7.

Andrew: I’m not much of a cook, so I usually order takeout or make something simple like pasta. After dinner, I relax and watch TV or read a book before going to bed around 10.

Marie: I like to read too! It’s a great way to unwind. Well, Andrew, it was nice hearing about your daily routine!

Andrew: You too, Marie! It’s interesting how our days are similar yet different. If you ever want to join me for a morning workout, let me know!

Marie: Absolutely, Andrew! I might take you up on that offer. Have a great day!

Andrew: You too, Marie! See you around!
